How to Print Digital Artwork

Download your Art Files

After completing your purchase, you can download your art files to your computer, phone or to a thumb drive if you need to take it to a local print shop.

Printing at Home

If you only need a small size, such as 5x7 or 8x10, you can absolutely print your artwork at home. Our recommendation is to use matte cardstock, printable cotton or rag paper (available for purchase online). Prints look best on a textured archival paper. Choose the highest quality print settings on your printer.

Printing Online

There are many different options for printing your artwork online. We love Walgreens (or Boots if in UK), Amazon and Mpix.com. For best results, choose a matte archival paper.

Where can I buy archival art paper for printing at home?

We purchase our art paper from Amazon. You can search their site for the following: "giclee art paper", "printable cotton", or "matte cardstock".

Printing Locally

You can also download your files to a thumb drive or your phone, then take it to a local print shop, such as Staples, Walgreens, or Fed-Ex.

Frame Recommendations

After your artwork is printed, framing is the final step! There are many places to buy inexpensive frames these days, including Target, Walmart and Michael's. We love a simple black matted frame or antique gold one for vintage art. Two frame brands on Amazon we love are Craig Frames and Lawrence Frames. You can also choose to have your artwork printed and framed at the same time through online sites such as Frambridge and Frame it Easy. Michael's offers custom framing in store.
